Add and curate content in AI-generated communities and groups

Learn how to bring videos into AI-generated communities and groups, review where AI maps them, choose feeds, and set who can approve content.

Videos reach your communities and groups from your own uploads, social imports, brand partners, and creators. Genuin's AI enriches each video and suggests the community and group it belongs in. You approve, change, or reject that suggestion before the video publishes.

Curation and permissions are part of Control. For the whole product, see Control: what it does and where to start.

Bring content into communities and groups

Content comes from three kinds of sources: your brand, your brand partners, and creators.

Add your brand's content

Add a brand partner's content

  1. Add the brand partner in your Brand Network.
    • Define the relationship: partner, holding company, or aspire-to-partner.
    • Add the brand name, domain, handles, and contact emails.
  2. Get the partner's consent.
  3. Add the partner's feeds to your placements, so their content enters the community mix.

Learn more about partner brands in Connect Your Brand Network to Add Consumer Brands and Accept partner content into your ecosystem.

Add creator and member content

Creators subscribe and sync their social handles, and their content flows automatically into the relevant communities and groups. To bring creators in, see Invite creators, hosts, and contributors.

Members can upload their own videos (UGC) from two places:

  • The desktop web app, at community.[brand].com.
  • The mobile app, when UGC Camera is enabled.

Review how AI organizes each video

Once a video arrives, Genuin's AI organizes it automatically. You review the result and override it where you need to. Learn more in How AI works in Brand Control Center.

Metadata and taxonomy

AI enriches each video with a transcript, a description of its visuals, keyword tags, audio cues, and category labels. These help Genuin identify the content type, theme, and relevance of the video.

Community and group mapping

AI recommends the most relevant Community and Group for every incoming video. You can approve, reject, or change the community or group it assigned.

AI maps videos with a call to action (CTA) to the correct product or brand page. Select Map Unique Link-out Videos Only to show only one video per brand or product in a given placement.

For the link-out rules that apply across your brand, see Manage and block video linkouts.

Approve or reject videos

Videos wait in Activity or Upload Logs under one of four statuses: Processing, Awaiting Approval, Approved, or Rejected.

  1. Open Activity or Upload Logs.
  2. Find the video under Awaiting Approval.
  3. View the video before you act on it.
  4. Click Approve to publish the video, or Reject to discard it.
  5. (Optional) Click Move to put the video in a different community or group.

To approve content without manual review, see Set up automatic content approval.

Choose which feed shows the content

Each feed type decides what viewers see, based on relevance and context.

FeedWhat it showsExample
Brand FeedOnly your brand's content, or your content plus content from partner brands—

Pin, feature, and tag priority content

Within any community or group, you can:

  • Pin high-priority content.
  • Feature videos.
  • Tag videos by category or partner.
  • Pin Communities to keep them at the top of your community list for navigation.

Set roles and permissions

Use Brand Control Center to structure your team and what each person can do. You can assign these roles: Admin, Owner, Editor, Moderator, Analyst, Viewer, Content Manager, and Contributor.

You can restrict:

  • Access by feature, such as upload, approve, or edit.
  • Access by community or content type.
  • Creator access, to specific groups or categories only.

For more information, see Business Account Roles and Scoped Roles and Community Roles and Creator Tiers.

Track content performance

Dashboards show:

  • Content performance by feed and by video.
  • Active users and engagement.
  • Creator and UGC contributions.
  • Top themes, groups, and communities.

You can export performance reports or send them automatically. Learn more in How Can Brands Track and Analyze Content Interactions in Reports?

Limitations

  • Video length by importer: Uploads accept videos up to 300 seconds. Clip It accepts videos up to 60 minutes.
  • File formats: mp4, mov, avi, wmv, mkv, and webm.
  • Upload size: Each upload can be up to 2 GB.
  • Social ingestion: Each connected account must grant OAuth permission before Genuin can import from it.
