Add AI capabilities, tools, and models from the Marketplace
The Marketplace is where Supervised Intelligence gets its skills. Clone capabilities other brands published, connect the tools they need, register your own MCP servers, and add the language models they run on.
Octo, Genuin's Supervised Intelligence interface, is the assistant inside Brand Control Center, the one you ask to build brand assets, curate content, or run a report. A capability is one thing it knows how to do: a workflow with a model configuration and the tools it calls. The Marketplace section holds everything around capabilities: the ones you own, the ones other brands share, the tools they connect to, and the models they run on. It has four tabs.
| Tab | What it holds |
|---|---|
| My Capabilities | The capabilities your brand owns, and the capability builder for new ones |
| Capability Marketplace (Marketplace in the menu) | Capabilities published by other brands, ready to copy |
| Tools | Provider integrations, the tools Genuin provides, and the custom MCP servers you register |
| LLMs | The language models your capabilities can run on, with their credentials |
Step 1: Find a capability
Open the Capability Marketplace (Marketplace > Marketplace in the menu). It lists the capabilities Genuin publishes, marked Official, and the ones other brands published, with the publisher's name. Your own carry Published by you, and ones you've already added carry Added or Cloned. Search by capability or tool, or filter by outcome, publisher, input, output, tool provider, AI capability, and platform. Genuin's capabilities lists the Official ones.
Open a card to read what the capability does and two requirement lists:
- Required tools: the providers and tools it calls. You connect these after copying.
- Required models: the models it expects, or Default when any connected model works.
Step 2: Add it to your brand
Select Add to My Intelligence Capabilities. The dialog explains what gets copied: the current workflow, model configuration, and tool requirements become a private capability owned by your brand. The original stays with its publisher; later changes there don't reach your copy.
Some capabilities ask for access before they copy. The dialog reads Grant this capability access?; confirm to continue. If the publisher restricted it, the card says the capability isn't available to your brand. If access needs approval, the copy is created and marked as pending until it's granted.
The copy lands under My Capabilities. Until its tools are connected it can't run, so the next step is Tools.
Step 3: Connect the tools it needs
Open Marketplace > Tools. The page lists everything your capabilities can connect to.
| Group | What it is | How you enable it |
|---|---|---|
| Integrations | Ready-made providers such as analytics, communication, and productivity services | Open the provider, authorize your brand to use the listed actions, finish the sign-in in the new tab, and check the connection |
| Genuin tools | Tools Genuin provides, such as Genuin Analytics, Curate, and Monetization | Enable the tool; every action it lists becomes callable |
| Custom tools | MCP servers your brand registers | Add a custom tool with the server URL and an optional header such as a bearer token; the server's tool list is fetched and stored |
| Shared with you | Custom tools other brands chose to share | Enable them like Genuin tools |
A capability's detail page lists its Tool providers with their connection status, so you can see what's still missing.
Step 4: Add a model
Open Marketplace > LLMs. Genuin's own models are available to every capability without setup. To run a capability on another provider, select Add, choose the provider, pick a model, and enter the API key. Providers include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Mistral, Cohere, DeepSeek, Groq, Fireworks AI, Together, Perplexity, xAI, Ollama, OpenRouter, and a custom endpoint. Give the entry a display name, set the temperature and the maximum output tokens, and run the connection test; the entry saves only after a successful test. Keys are stored encrypted, and only their last characters are shown afterwards.
Step 5: Enable it in Supervised Intelligence
Open the capability under My Capabilities and select Enable in Intelligence. From then on the assistant can use it. The same page lets you disable it, edit its tools and models, or delete it permanently along with the data it owns. Capabilities that run in the background, such as a clip-generation job, show their progress and history on the same page.
Publish your own
On My Capabilities, the capability builder turns a description of what you need Supervised Intelligence to do into a capability. Once it works, Publish to Marketplace on its page makes it available for other brands to clone. Remove from Marketplace stops new clones; existing copies keep working. A custom tool can be shared the same way with Share this tool with other brands while editing it.
Limitations
- Copies don't follow the original. A cloned capability is yours; updates by the publisher don't apply.
- A capability runs only when its tools are connected and a model is available.
- One key per LLM entry, tested before it saves; a minted key is shown once.
- Access is per brand. The Capability Marketplace, Tools, and LLMs tabs need the Marketplace permission on your role.
